Dumbo Octopus Navigation

Beautiful, isn’t it?  This Cirrate octopus, a bit more benthic than your run-of-the-mill octopus, was videoed off the coast of San Francisco, in the darker, chillier, non-coastal depths.  He (she?) doesn’t jet about, but flaps the fins on the side of his head a la Dumbo.  Neat.
