GoogleVoice July 7, 2009

GoogleVoice is an awesome new feature of Google, just now out of beta.  It allows phone messages to be saved, transcribed and e-mailed, fetched from a browser or forwarded to another number of your choosing (they check and see if it’s your number, so forget about putting your ex-wife’s number on a sex-chat line).  They also provide the widget above for connecting to the number (without displaying it) from a webpage like this one (except I have the cheap version of WordPress, so no widgets for me).  I was able to get a local number which contained my first name, which I have always wanted.

I think I’m going to like this.
